LambdaGain Outdoor DWDM Mux/Demux Terminal
Introducing the LambdaGain™ Pole/Wall Mount Outdoor DWDM Mux/Demux Terminal.
The LambdaGain Outdoor DWDM Mux/Demux Terminal (DWDM-MDT) enables cost-effective DWDM wavelength services at locations such as radio sites where there is no shelter available for DWDM equipment. DWDM-MDT Terminals consume a minimum of space on the supporting structure and use industry-standard ODVA connectors for quick, reliable optical connections, reducing installation time and costs.
Sealed terminals with ODVA connectors are available to multiplex/demultiplex 2 or 4 DWDM wavelengths and are weather-resistant for installation on poles, walls, and other outdoor structures. The optional Express port allows capacity growth at a single location, or cascade configurations to serve multiple locations from a single fiber run.
The Outdoor DWDM-MDT distributes DWDM wavelengths to equipment such as Remote Radio Units (RRUs) without the need for expensive remote shelters.
LambdaGain Outdoor DWDM-MDT are typically part of an integrated LambdaGain DWDM access network that includes a high-capacity headend mux/demux as well as mid-span band-pass filters for point-to-multipoint applications. Many customers choose to drive the DWDM access network with LambdaGain tuneable compatible optics for a complete, cost-effective, and turnkey solution.
